Grammy 2024 tem mulheres como destaque entre os indicados

Cerimônia acontece em fevereiro em Los Angeles

O Grammy 2024 será das mulheres. Isso fica nítido ao ver a relação dos indicados. A rapper SZA (foto acima), atração do Lollapalooza Brasil do ano que vem, é quem concorre a mais prêmios, nove no total, incluindo álbum do ano (“SOS”) e gravação do ano (“Kill bill”). Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo,Taylor Swift e o trio de cantoras boygenius foram indicadas seis vezes cada. Nas categorias gravação do ano e álbum do ano, o pianista Jon Batiste é o único homem a aparecer na lista de concorrentes.

E tem brasileiros entre os indicados. Eliane Elias, Ivan Lins e Luciana Souza & Trio Corrente serão os nossos representantes na cerimônia, figurando na lista de melhor álbum de jazz latino, com, respectivamente, “Quietude”, “My heart speaks” e “Cometa”.

Essa edição conta com o acréscimo de três novas categorias: Melhor performance de música africana, Melhor álbum de jazz alternativo e Melhor gravação de Pop Dance. No total serão 94.
