Todos os anos passamos por diversas premiações. Há aquelas mais famosas como o Oscar, o Globo de Ouro, o Emmy, o Grammy… Mas há também algumas menores, ou de nichos, como o BAFTA, o Tony ou o The Game Awards. Uma destas premiações de nicho que raramente chegam à mídia mainstream é o Eisner Awards.

O Eisner Awards existe desde 1988, tendo começado em resposta ao fim do Kirby Awards, e recebeu esse nome em homenagem a Will Eisner, famoso quadrinista e um dos primeiros no ramo. Sua premiação ocorre durante a San Diego Comic Con desde 1991, ocorrendo portanto por volta de julho.

Recentemente foram revelados os indicados para o Eisner Awards 2018, lembrando que a edição premiará trabalhos publicados de janeiro a dezembro de 2017. Sem mais delongas, segue abaixo os indicados aos principais prêmios:
